The Material:

• BASE - Our jobs would not be the best if we did not purchase the best material.  The base, which is the most important factor in any asphalt job, is what we need to accomplish first.  What we do here is to make sure that the grade for drainage is not just close but exact and the base is good and hard before any kind of paving can be done.  At our facility, we have the very best recycled base which is basically made up of gravel, recycled concrete, and recycled asphalt that is crushed together to make a recycle/gravel base.
• ASPHALT/BLACKTOP/PAVING - The next material is of course the asphalt.  First thing that is determined is how close the job is to the nearest asphalt plant.  Reason for this is because the hotter the mix the better the job will turn out!  Asphalt should be approximately 300 to 350 degrees to get the best results.  This is why when you see us in the blazing heat in July we are paving.  Only the best for our customers!
